Ingredients

  • Macaroni pasta – 2 cups
  • Butter – 2 tablespoons
  • Flour – 1 tablespoon
  • Milk – 2 cups

  • Cheddar cheese – 1 cup
  • Mozzarella cheese – ½ cup
  • Salt and pepper
  • Oregano and chili flakes – ½ teaspoon
  • Bread crumbs – ¼ cup

Boil the macaroni pasta

  • Boil water in a large pan and add a little salt.
  • Add macaroni and boil for 8-10 minutes until soft.
  • After boiling, drain the water and set the pasta aside.

Cook butter and flour

  • Heat butter in a pan and add flour to it and fry on low heat.
  • Keep stirring it continuously so that no lumps form in it.

Add milk and cheese

  • Now add milk slowly to it and make a smooth sauce while stirring continuously. When the sauce starts to thicken, add grated cheese to it and mix well

Add spices

  • Now add salt, pepper and mixed herbs to this creamy sauce according to your taste and mix well.
  • Let it cook until the cheese is completely melted

Mix pasta and sauce

  • Add boiled macaroni pasta to the prepared cheese sauce and mix well.
  • Let it cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes so that all the flavors mix well

Serve hot

  • Take it out in a serving bowl and sprinkle some cheese on top.
  • If you want, you can bake it in the oven for 5 minutes to get a crispy texture from the top
