Use your Google Maps to know vaccination locations in India: Details inside
As the coronavirus situation is getting deadlier by days, now Google Maps has come up with a new option to locate vaccination spots easier.
FollowThere are a lot of factors concerning the vaccination process. It might be harder to find a site if the person lives too far or doesn't have a proper internet connection to book an appointment.
Karen DeSalvo, MD, M.P.H, Chief Health Officer, said in Google Health a blog post, "As more people have access to Covid-19 vaccine, we're making it easier to learn why, when and where you can get immunised."
This new feature has been rolled out in Google Search and Maps. Users have to type 'COVID-19 vaccine location' then on Google Maps, nearby centres will be shown, and in Google Search, a line up of information will show regarding the virus. On the left side, there's an option 'Where to get it' if you click that, you will get the names of your nearby locations.
DeSalvo further wrote, "As we've learned throughout the pandemic, no one is safe from COVID-19 until everyone is safe. Getting vaccines to everyone is a challenging, but necessary, undertaking. We'll keep doing our part and working together until we get there."
