A five-year-old girl, whose parents hail from Kerala, died of fever in Abu Dhabi on Friday.Â
Rayeesa, a kindergarten student at a school in Abu Dhabi, was suffering from fever for the past one week, Khaleej Times reported on Saturday.Â
The youngster was the only child of her parents who hail from Malappuram in Kerala. Her father Rafi works with a private company in Baniyas area of Abu Dhabi.Â
With changing weather conditions, there has been a spurt in cases of fever in Abu Dhabi, which is the second most populous city in the UAE.Â
The UAE is home to more than 2.6 million Indians, who form the largest expatriate community in the Gulf nation.
