Ravi Krishna Reddy an activist from Lanchamukta Karnataka Nirmana Vedike gave a representation to Central Crime Branch head and Joint Commissioner of Crime, Alok Kumar to summon Venkatesh Prasanna who was the ACP with CCB and was in-charge of the Ambidant case.

The officer is said to have alleged that he was transferred because he was handling the case and had come across names of few senior officers and politicians mentioned by prime accused Fareed.

"We want truth to come out. I am not putting allegations on any officer. I have documents which state that the ACP was unhappy about being shifted from the CCB," Reddy said.
