In a sensational claim, an MLA from Arunachal Pradesh has said that neighbouring China is making an all-out attempt to recruit youth potential into its Army from Tibet and Arunachal Pradesh.

His claims come as four different linguistic minority communities

Idu, Adi, Nishi and Mishimi in the India-China border of Arunachal Pradesh share a good equation with Lhoba community belonging to China border and expressed doubts over China eyeing youths from these pockets and there is no much difference is languages spoken in these belts.

Interestingly Arunachal Pradesh of Indian state shares one of the largest borders with China measuring 1,126 kms and hence Indian forces are keeping a hawk-eye and have intensified its intelligence across its borders post-Galwan valley clashes last year.

The leader is said to have contended that none of these pockets in Indian territory wish to join the neighbouring country and also stated that any attempts from China to take advantage would be sabotaged by Indian forces.

Ering opined that China developing its border areas with good roads, houses and building infrastructure may have a cascading impact on Arunachal youths, especially in border areas.

To checkmate China, India can recruit Arunachal Pradesh youths into Indian defense forces and deploy them along its Indo China border, feels the MLA as per media reports.

Stressing that Arunachal Pradesh and every individual will remain an integral part of India, he warned China against its cheap theatrics and asked the dragon nation to stay away from such acts.
