Are you correctly using deodorant? Here are 5 mistakes that we tend to make every time
Did you know there are many do's and don'ts regarding how to apply your deodorant? Well, yes, you heard that right. Read on.
The most common fact that we might not know, the night is the best time to apply deodorant. Knowingly or unknowingly, we have been making these 5 mistakes which we need to rectify.
Apply lavishly
We always end up spraying one coat of deodorant, which is not enough. Sometimes you should apply generously to cover the sweat ducts. So to save yourself from embarrassment, apply profusely before stepping out.
Only underarms?
Do you apply only on your underarms? But do you know that you can actually spray your deodorant on your knees and inner thighs to prevent chaffing?
Just after shaving
Do not apply straight after shaving. This can cause irritation and itching, which can lead to skin damage. Wait for a while before you spray straight after the shave.
Change your deodorant brands
You should change your deodorant once in a while to give it a change. Your sweat glands get adaptive to the same deodorant, and it may stop functioning properly.
Apply at night
To get more effects, apply your deodorant at night. Try it.
