The film is set to go on floors soon. In the film, Rakul will be playing a bold role or a sexecutive. According to reports, her character is of a condom tester. The film will be a women-centric social comedy.
The report suggested that she has already given a verbal 'yes' to the film.
Rakul is currently working on films like May Day, Thank God, Doctor G and others in her kitty. However, now due to Covid 19 situation, the shooting is going to a halt.
In the film May Day, Rakul will be a feature with Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan starrer May Day, where she portrays the character of a pilot.
Talking about the same Rakul once said, "I have worked with Ajay sir in the past and extremely thrilled to be working with him yet again as his co-pilot in a film where he is not just my co-star but director too:) When I decided to be an actor like all the other aspiring actors I had a dream to work with Mr. Bachchan and I am so glad that with this film my dream to share screen space with him will come true."
Rakul's Sardar Ka Grandson with Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham, Neena Gupta and Aditi Rao Hydari is set to release on Netflix from May 18.
