Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli relationship: 'We are both very awkward with the fame we have,' said actress

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are often denoted as the 'power couple' in the film and cricket industry. They both are loved by the fans for their beautiful relationship and their loyalty that they bring to the table with their marriage, serving as an inspiration to the fans.

Once during a chat with Film Journalist Anupama Chopra, Anushka Sharam was asked how they managed to build a successful marriage by having professions with extreme highs and lows.

Explaining her relationship with Virat Kohli, Anushka said, "We are very simple people, wanting to do very normal simple things. We are very awkward with the fame that we have. We don't embrace stardom and fame, and I think that is how we connect so much."

"We run away from these things. We find the need to be in our cocoon. That's the reason why we are so self-sufficient. When I say self, I mean both of us. We don't see each other as two different people. We are male and female versions of each other," Anushka added.

"We both are very spiritual people, and that comes first then comes what we do. I think that is where we find our strength. We go perform our duty, and we come back, so that's how we get the detachment." Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli welcomed their baby daughter Vamika on January 11. They are both currently in London.
