From Alia Bhatt, Khiladi Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakri and few other celebrities have found fame in this land of opportunity, however, it appears they find pride in holding citizenship of other countries more than India.

To begin with Khiladi Akshay Kumar, his name is enough for box office collection, but who is dubbed as brand for government schemes is actually a Canadian. It is said that he has applied for Indian citizenship now.

Alia Bhatt is another name that comes first before many top directors cast her for assured success. But did you know that she is actually a British national?
The actress' mother Soni Razdan is a British citizen and thereby Alia is more a British than an Indian.

It is the same with actress Jacqueline Fernandez. Don't go by her flawless Hindi dialogues and assume her as an Indian. She is a Sri Lankan first.

Similarly, model turned actress Katrina Kaif also holds non-Indian citizenship. While her father is a Kashmiri, settled in Britain, her Mother is a British advocate. Hence she naturally qualified British citizen and not an Indian.

Like Kaif, Nargis Fakri, Nora Fatehi and Evelyn Sharma are Bollywood celebrities who are not Indians.

Born to Pakistani father and Czech Republican mother,  Fakhri is an American first. Nora Fatehi comes from Moroccan descent but born and raised in Canada hence she is so Canadian like Akshay Kumar and not an Indian.

Actress Evelyn Sharma might speak decent Punjabi as her Father is from Punjab but her marriage with German man made her settle in Germany. Evelyn holds German passport and there by she is a German which gives prominence to matriarchy.
