The targeted structure, reportedly one of Iran’s largest and most significant infrastructure projects, was hit in a precision airstrike that left multiple casualties and caused extensive damage.

According to reports, at least eight people were killed and dozens injured as the strike caused a dramatic collapse of the bridge, severing a crucial transport link between Tehran and surrounding regions. US President Donald Trump publicly acknowledged the strike, sharing visuals of the destruction and issuing a stark warning to Tehran.
