How Did Prankster Target Delivery Worker Walter Z?

Walter Z, who is also called Red Barron, a pizza delivery worker and distributor in Michigan, was reportedly stocking frozen food aisles during a late-night shift when a prankster approached him under the guise of asking for the time.

As Walter pulled out his phone to check the time, the prankster held his own device nearby and played a chime sound mimicking an Apple Pay transaction, falsely claiming he had just transferred $10 out of Walter's account. The exhausted worker, who was running an hour late to see his four children, angrily confronted the individual for wasting his time.

“My life is hard enough as it is, okay? I don't need this crap. I got kids at home that went to bed without me right now! I was supposed to be off an hour ago,” the Red Barron worker said in a viral video.

“You're probably making money off of this! I can't even pay my goddamn mortgage! And I got four kids at home! So not funny!" he added.

The incident reportedly took place in August this year, but the video reached the attention of viewers worldwide, sparking intense public outrage over the harassment of working parents for social media clout.

The viewers and social media users strongly condemned the influencer account (@thea.ctiveworld) for harassing working-class employees for clout, driving the page offline amid global backlash.
