TMC president Subrata Bakshi accompanied Mamata Banerjee while she went to file her papers at the Haldia sub-divisional office.
Mamata Banerjee reached Nandigram a day before the nomination was submitted. Coincidentally, her rival Suvendu Adhikari is also in Nandigram at the moment.

Suvendu Adhikari held a meeting in Nandigram on Wednesday morning. From there, he attacked Mamata and called her a 'Fake Hindu'.
People of Nandigram are all set to a high-octane battle between the TMC and the BJP in the upcoming assembly polls.
