Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday (March 25) said that if the BJP comes to power in Bengal then it would renovate the temples at Bishnupur.
While attending a public meeting, Amit Shah said, “Bishnupur is the land of temples. There are many world-famous temples in this land but no one took care of these temples? If voted to power, the BJP government will spend ₹ 100 crores to renovate all these temples.”

Slamming Mamata Banerjee, Amit Shah said, “Development cannot happen in Bengal until the Mamata Banerjee-led government is removed from power.”
The Union home minister also promised that transportation for women and education for girls will be made free of cost in a BJP-ruled Bengal.
Amit Shah also said, “Mamata banned Durga puja and Saraswati puja for vote bank. Say bye-bye to Didi on May 2 and there will no one to stop Durga puja and Saraswati puja in Bengal.”
