Australian batter Shaun Marsh played for Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) throughout his IPL career from 2008 to 2017. He was the Orange Cap winner in the first season.

Late Australia bowling legend Shane Warne led RR to first title in 2008 and played four seasons for the side till 2011.
