Kerala fishermen released an endangered whale shark which was caught in their fishing net. The dramatic rescue has won praises from netizens after the video went viral.
In the video, a group of 60 fishermen surrounding the whale shark, can be seen pushing back the whale into the sea.
The whale shark can be seen lying motionless on the beach.
Gradually the fishermen manage to free the shark from the tangled net and put a rope around it.
After hard efforts, they were able to push the whale shark back into the sea.
Video went viral and netizens are lauding the fishermen for their gesture in releasing the whale shark.
