Shetty said, in other countries, many lives were lost after the second wave, whereas in India, even before the second wave strikes, vaccines are available and in the next two months, half of India's population will have to be vaccinated.

If this is achieved, only then the fear of Covid-19 will subside, opines Dr Shetty.
