Voters stage protest after hundreds of names go missing in Bengaluru, Mandya

In Bengaluru South, over 100 voters complained of names being deleted from the voters' list. 367 people couldn’t find their names in voters’ list in Nagarabhavi, Bengaluru. A voter in booth number 164 in Mandya whose name has gone missing from the voters' list spoke to MyNation and said that he has been cheated. He asked for a challenge vote as he has a voter ID, even though in reality there is no such option to cast a ‘tender or challenge vote’ if one’s name is not found in the voters list. Many incidents of names missing in voters’ lists have been reported in Mandya. Here is what the voters had to say.
