PubliCity: BBMP, BWSSB go underground; trees to fall flat, say experts

The BBMP's storm water drain and whitetopping work, and the BWSSB’s sewage and water pipes projects may eventually result in Koramangala's tree cover vanishing and if authorities know what they are doing, then this seems a diabolical plan. The laying of pipes and other underground and roots of trees have been severely damaged. Authorities use JCB machines to widen the drains and these are causing rots to be cut. Experts say, the cutting of roots and concrete work will cause these trees to uproot at any time.
