Bengaluru: Ahead of Varamahalakshmi festival, KR Market attracts huge crowds

Bengaluru: KR Market, on Thursday (August 8), witnessed massive crowds ahead of Varamahalakshmi festival as Bengalureans flocked to the market to buy pooja items and flowers.

Varamahalakshmi festival or vrata is celebrated to propitiate Goddess Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth. It is observed as an important festival, performed by many women, especially in south India.
