17-year-old girl falls to death while exercising on terrace; residents suspect foul play

A 17-year-old girl fell to her death from an apartment terrace at Ramakrishnapura in Anekal taluk. The parents of the girl said that she was exercising on the terrace when her leg got caught between pipes, causing her to trip, lose balance and fall over. But residents of the apartment suspect foul play stating that it was highly improbable for her to fall as the terrace is skirted by a four-feet high wall. The victim is identified as Priyanka Paul, a second PUC student at St Francis De Sales College, Bengaluru. Residents of the apartment heard a thud around 8 am and found Priyanka laying on the floor. Surya Nagar Police visited the spot and are investigating the incident.
