Post Deepawali, roads in and around Koramangala have turned dangerous as wet waste like plantain stems, flowers, pumpkins and others have bene left behind on footpaths and medians. BBMP’s delay in clearing wet waste has resulted in the rotting of this waste, causing the footpath to become slippery and bad odour.

Due to this mess, students travelling to school and college are forced to walk on busy Madiwala and Sarjapura Road. Fearing for their safety, school authorities have started to clean the garbage themselves.

School authorities say they have raised this concern to officials concerned several times, but it has fallen on deaf ears.
