Mumbai: Devendra Faddnavis took oath as Maharashtra chief minister on November 23 for a second term. NCP’s Ajit Pawar took oath as deputy CM of the state. The oath was administered by Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan. Speaking on this development, Maharashtra chief minister said that they wanted to give the state a stable and not a ‘khichdi’ government. NCP's Ajit Pawar who took oath as deputy chief minister said: "Since the election results were out, no one was able to form any government here in Maharashtra. We took this decision to solve the problems of Maharashtra farmers and today, we formed the government."
