Chennai: On the occasion of Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi's 73rd birthday, members of Indian National Congress, on Monday (December 9) distributed sweets and onions to the residents of Ramanathapuram in Tamil Nadu.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished Sonia Gandhi on Twitter and prayed for her long life and good health.
Sonia Gandhi was born on December 9, 1946, in a small village near Vicenza, Italy, and was raised in a Roman Catholic family.
