Strike against Pak before Maharashtra, Haryana polls raises doubts: Karnataka Congress president

Bengaluru: Expressing doubts over Indian forces launching a strike against a terror camp in Pakistan, killing a few including Pakistan forces, Karnataka Congress president Dinesh Gundu Rao said he doubted the attacks based on the timing of the strike by Indian forces considering that Maharashtra and Haryana were going to polls soon. He says post the Pulwama attack and retaliation by Indian forces, BJP used the acts by forces to up their advantage and fears that the same would be repeated henceforth.

Reacting to the Rao’s comments, Abdul Azeem, BJP leader and Minority Commission chairperson said, “Congress is well aware that it’s losing both the Maharashtra and Haryana Assembly elections. This is the very reason for making such statements. This shows the level of frustration in the fold as they are losing everywhere in the country,”
