Bengaluru Traffic Police have a new challenge on the city outskirts. According to transport and traffic experts, it is the two-wheeler riders who break rules more. With 84,276 motorists booked for triple riding, it does looks like the two-wheeler segment cares less for Bengaluru traffic cops and rules.

The riders, usually students and construction workers heading to their respective destination, carry more than the amount of people their motorcycles are designed for.

In city core areas, when such offences are committed, the offenders are easily caught due to slow-moving traffic and traffic police personnel hiding in strategic locations.

Experts point to the need to depute personnel on the outskirts of the city and ring roads to bring in discipline among two-wheeler riders.
