As the dust is yet to settle down from the Tabligh Jamat incident in Delhi, which was dubbed as reason for spike in coronavirus infections, now, a section Muslims in Karnataka home minister Basavaraj Bommai's district Haveri violated lockdown rules.
The incident happened today (April 17) at Haveri district's Savanur Police limits. Based on the information, revenue officials and Savanur Police raided the Masjid where the Muslims had gathered for Friday prayers and resorted to lathicharge.
