Jalandhar: Hero shopkeeper fights off armed robbers

Jalandhar: A robbery attempt in Punjab’s Jalandhar was foiled by a brave shopkeeper. According to sources, two robbers reached a money charger shop. When they were all set to rob, some foreigners reached the shop. Without changing the plan, the robbers took out their pistols and tried robbing but failed as the shopkeeper and other staff fought off the robbers. The robbers, however, fled from the shop by taking the wallet and mobile phone of the shopkeeper. As per the information from the shopkeeper, Satinderpal Singh Bablu, he informed police. Later, police station in-charge Goraya Singh reached the spot and started investigating the case. As CCTV was installed, the footage will help police in their probe.
