House owners to be summoned, probed in foreign nationals’ drug peddling, cheating cases

Bengaluru: Bengaluru Joint Commissioner of  Police Sandeep Patil who has instructed his official for raids on foreign nationals' houses frequently has also said that the house owners in Bengaluru will be made party to the investigation and summoned to police station for questioning.

Foreign nationals especially from African countries, some of them, who come on student and business visas, overstay in the city while some are involved in drug peddling, cyber fraud and prostitution.

Police which checked for overstaying were stunned to find the interconnection with all such crimes. Now such raids on suspected foreign nationals will be frequent to stop their illegal activities.
