Over 350 cases in Gadag have had no impact on an MLA from North Karnataka's Shirahatti Taluk. The legislator, Ramanna Lamani, held a groundbreaking ceremony of a road project despite restrictions on gathering.
Despite Gadag witnessing 369 COVID-19 cases and fear of infection looming large, a Karnataka MLA held a groundbreaking ceremony of a road project.
Hundreds gathered for the ceremony and many were found without masks.
Following the incident, the video showing COVID restrictions being brazenly violated has gone viral.
