Despite COVID scare Karnataka MLA holds groundbreaking ceremony for road project

Despite Gadag witnessing 369 COVID-19 cases and fear of infection looming large, a Karnataka MLA held a groundbreaking ceremony of a road project.

Hundreds gathered for the ceremony and many were found without masks.

Following the incident, the video showing COVID restrictions being brazenly violated has gone viral.
