Bengaluru: The Karnataka government has tweaked quarantine requirements for people arriving from Maharashtra, raising the isolation time from a fortnight to three weeks. The first seven days will be an institutional quarantine, followed by 14-day strict home quarantine. The 21-day quarantine regimen is for all asymptomatic people returning from Maharashtra, considering most of the COVID cases in Karnataka have domestic travel history to that state.

However, a shocking video that has emerged from Channasandra near Whitefield has left residents panicking. A resident complained that these labourers from Bihar who have been home quarantined have come to a residential layout. The residents now fear that they might be carriers of the deadly coronavirus. But what appalled the residents was these migrants washing off the home quarantine stamp.
