Bengaluru street vendors pushed off the streets: To live or let live cholera-coronavirus dilemma

Busy footpaths of Bengaluru now bear a deserted look. The BBMP has ordered the closure of certain shops and has put street food vendors off the roads. While the measures have been taken, keeping the safety of people in mind, in order not to put lives at risk, the decision has made life miserable for a few people who depend on daily earnings. We can also not forget the number of people who look for these vendors in order to obtain some affordable food.
