BBMP marshals rescue dairy farmer from Bellandur lake bed; video goes viral

A dairy farmer who went inside Bellandur lake to get cattle feed like grass, got stuck in the silt for two hours.

Upon seeing a man's head above the water level and screaming for help, BBMP marshals and locals arrived and after two hours of struggle, pulled him out to safety.

The locals said this is not the first instance where a farmer got stuck and hence have urged the BBMP to provide basic equipment like ropes, tubes and inflatable boats for such operations.
