14 branded cars stolen without breaking the window: Bengaluru Police track down trio from Kerala, Tamil Nadu

The South East Division Police in Bengaluru cracked a stolen car case and recovered 14 cars worth RS 2.5 crores. The police say the accused persons, Suresh alias Anil from Thiruvananthapuram, Tiruchi Kumar alias Sashi and Roohul Khudus from Tamil Nadu, were residing in Hosur and scheming to steal various branded cars at night.

As per police information, the accused persons pooled in money to buy this technology with which they can open the code and unlock a car without damaging the windows and escaping the burglary alarm. Within a short while, the selected cars were stolen and sold in Tamil Nadu.

The police say, the accused used to buy the documents of scrapped vehicles from Tamil Nadu, and they would then make rounds in Bengaluru searching for cars with similar colour and brand. At night, when everyone is fast asleep, they would attempt to steal.

The main accused has been arrested, while the police are on the lookout for two more. With the arrest, the police have solved cases that have been pending for over two years in various police stations.
