Mysuru cop performs final rites of man killed by elephant as relatives stay away due to COVID-19 fears

Amidst coronavirus fears, relatives of a mentally ill person who was trampled to death by an elephant, refused to touch the body and perform last rites. HB Madegowda, assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of Chamarajanagar east police station in Mysuru ensure the deceased gets a dignified farewell. His action is being appreciated by Karnataka’s top cops.
