Bengaluru: Only if his palms are greased, this government doctor will issue COVID-19 test report.
The incident was caught on camera while the doctor was accepting Rs 500 bribe and demanding extra for the test, saying no one will take risk of checking during coronavirus.
The incident happened at Malur Government Hospital some 40 kilometres from Bengaluru. The doctor is identified as Srinivas. Seeing the pressure from doctor, one women patient dared to expose him by filming his true nature on her mobile camera without his knowledge.
The doctor actually fixed Rs 200 as the minimum bribe price to issue the test report. Following this, the video went viral in Kolar district of Karnataka and the public is demanding action.
