Petrol pumps and banks will remain open between 10 am to 2 pm. Shops providing daily utilities like milk, vegetable and fruits will be allowed to open between 7 am and 10 am.
Buses, private vehicles, taxis, metro rail, suburban trains will not be allowed to operate during the 14-day complete lockdown.
Home delivery and E-commerce services will be allowed in this duration.
West Bengal on Friday registered its highest single-day spike of 20,846 fresh Covid-19. The casualty figure rose to 12,993 after 136 more people, including five eminent doctors, succumbed to the infection.
CM Mamata's brother succumbs to Covid
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's younger brother Ashim Banerjee passed away on Saturday due to Covid-19.
Ashim had tested positive for Covid-19 and had been undergoing treatment at the Medica Superspecialty Hospital in Kolkata.
Ashim's last rites were conducted this afternoon as per Covid protocols.
