Prime Minister Modi directed MPs to make the people aware of Opposition tactics of repeated disruptions despite the central government's stated position that it is willing to discuss all issues.

In the face of repeated disruption of Parliament proceedings by the Opposition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked Bharatiya Janata Party MPs to expose Opposition before the nation.

Addressing the parliamentary party meeting, Prime Minister Modi directed MPs to make the people aware of Opposition tactics of repeated disruptions despite the central government's stated position that it is willing to discuss all issues.

He also wanted people to know how the Opposition kept away from meetings related to allowing Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to conduct business.

The Prime Minister's outburst came after Opposition parties like the Congress and Trinamool Congress repeatedly obstructed proceedings in both the Houses over issues like the Pegasus snooping row and farm laws.

Protests have been the order of the day ever since the Monsoon session got underway on July 19.

Even on Tuesday, Opposition leaders trooped to the well, held out placards and raised slogans against the government.

Following the Prime Minister's directive, Cabinet ministers took to social media to lash out at the Opposition.

After assuming ministerial charge, I got the maiden opportunity to answer the starred question related to Bulk drug parks & New & Renewable Energy in LS & RS resp, but Congress & other opposition parties created ruckus & their behaviour was unbecoming of the dignity of the House.

pic.twitter.com/DVUiqf3uP7

pic.twitter.com/GHQY9r3OFt
