Days after her fiery speech in Parliament in which she took on the government on all fronts, Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra has claimed that she is under surveillance.

The Parliamentarian from Krishnanagar in West Bengal has shot off a letter to Delhi Police Commissioner SN Shrivastava and the Station House Officer of the Barakhamba Road Police Station claiming that her rights were being violated.

In the letter, she wrote that three Border Security Force personnel with assault rifles were deployed outside her residence on Friday evening hours after the SHO visited her.

She claimed that the armed personnel who had been deployed had been making notes of movement to and from her residence.

The TMC MP said she was told that the armed officers had been deputed for her security.

Informing the Delhi Police chief that she did not need the protection, Mohua Moitra reminded the Delhi top cop that she had the Right to Privacy
