Telangana Irrigation Minister Harish Rao releases water from Tapaspalli Reservoir Left Canal Godavari water reached Siddipet people KCR’s aim and Siddipet people’s dream is finally accomplished

Telangana Irrigation Minister Thanniru Harish Rao finally released the Godavari waters to Siddipet on Wednesday morning and expressed his thanks to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for giving him such a rare honour. He proclaimed it to be a historic day and an eventful day in the life of Kondapaka mandal people.

Harish Rao pointed out that the Tapaspalli Reservoir was undertaken by the Telangana government to supply Godavari water to 73 villages. 82,542 acres of land will be receiving irrigation water. 

With this reservoir, the water problems of Cheryala, Kondapaka, Komaravelli, Maddur in Siddipet district and also 14 villages in Bacchannapet mandal in Janagaon district and 59 villages in different mandals is expected to be solved.

The program was attended by MP Kottha Prabahkar Reddy, Janagaon MLA Mutthareddy Yadhireddy, district collector P Venkatrama Reddy, district joint collector Padmakar, different department officials and other representatives.
