Sridhar Munnaluri from Khammam, Telangana, was killed in a road accident in the UK after he was knocked by a car in Swindon of South West England on Saturday evening.

Sridhar Munnaluri from Burampuram in Khammam sustained severe injuries when he was knocked down by the car at Corporation Street on October 1st and was immediately shifted to Southmead Trauma Centre in Bristol where he died on Sunday undergoing treatment.

Swindon Hindu Temple Chairman Pradeep Bharadwaj broke the news on Tuesday saying that Sridhar was a good man appreciated and respected by the community.

He also said that the whole community is shocked and very anxious as it happened in the heart of the city.

Sridhar who completed his studies from Raichur is survived by his wife and two young daughters aged eight years and five months old and lived at Brunei Crescent in Swindon.

Swindon Hindu Temple Trust immediately raised a fund of 34,157 pounds to help Sridhar’s family.
