The girl adored her cousin. But when he unexpectedly committed suicide, she was inconsolable. She became berserk and the very next day committed suicide. This incident happened in Jannepalli village Bodhan Mandal on Tuesday. According to Sub Inspector Ravindar Naik, Boda Srinivas and Vani from Jannepalli village had a son Nagaraju and a daughter Nandini (19). Nandini recently completed her Intermediate and applied online for her Graduate course.
She adored her cousin Raccha Sai Kumar from Mallaram Village Nandipet Mandal. However, Sai Kumar was depressed and on Tuesday committed suicide by hanging himself in his house. Nandini’s parents went to Nandipet on Tuesday to attend the funeral. But Nandini was mentally upset with the death of her cousin. She poured kerosene on herself and lit a match. She died on the spot completely burnt.
The neighbours observing smoke coming from the house informed the police and the family members. Police took the body for post-mortem. Police recorded a case based on the complaint of the father.
