Banjara Hills: Engineering student killed as car flips over in high-speed crash (video)

An accident in Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills Road No 3 has become the talking point of the city. An engineering student was driving his i20 in full speed and he happened to ram into the divider, as a result of which the car somersaulted and landed on its roof. Out of the three people in the car, the driver died while two others were injured. The accident took place in the busy Green Mosque junction.
It was only a few metres away from this accident that 10-year-old Ramya’s accident had taken place.
The driver, Fasahat Ali (19), was a student at Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology and Danish Javed and Syed Waiz Hussain, have been identified as the injured. He was taken to Somajiguda Yashoda Hospitals.
Police sent the body for post-mortem and the vehicle was removed from the site.
