Amazon is in troubled waters yet again for products listed on their site. After Indian flag as doormat and picture of gods on underwear, the company is facing ire for recommending ingredients to build explosives.
UK's Channel 4 has discovered that Amazon is listing ingredients that are usually found in DIY bombs. Amazon further adds suggestions of 'frequently bought together' chemicals to create explosives.
It was able to create a shopping cart that allowed 45kgs of black powder, and was offered another chemical in the suggested list, and then another. The report added that when these three chemicals are ignited create a reaction that is used in bombs.
Gizmodo also points out, “Buy a large quantity of a certain pure agricultural chemical, however, and Amazon will nudge you towards five pounds of aluminium powder. Combined, the two are similar to TNT.” In a nutshell, Amazon is easily encouraging customers to build explosives.
This isn't the first time that Amazon has been in trouble for its product listings.

Besides, Amazon had to pull down a mug with 'Got Retard' written on it as the word can be hurtful towards people, especially those suffering from Down's Syndrome. It's a pity that the word is still looked as a joke by many, supporters said.
