Mumbai Mirror has got its hands on the chargesheet, which states that the woman told about the incident to her friend over WhatsApp. The complainant's statement in the 273-page chargesheet reveals that she was hired for a professional shoot, followed by an interview shoot.
According to the chargesheet, Arunabh asked the woman to get into his cabin, and invited her to his house to watch her work (done prior to this assignment) together. "Why don't you come to my house, we will watch it together'. I felt uncomfortable as this man, who I only just met for work, was asking me to come over to his house," the woman said in her statement, according to Mumbai Mirror.
Also, when she entered the cabin, he rested his hand on hers, which made her uncomfortable. When she left, he followed her and touched her tattoo calling it 'sexy'. The woman was under a lot of pressure to complete the assignment and so didn't choose to walk out. However, she did mention about it to her business partner, and asked him to be around when she is with Arunabh. He has confirmed the incident. However, he didn’t see Arunabh touching her.
The woman further said that Arunabh kept staring at her from 'head to toe' and complimented her with words like 'you look so hot'. He would also often brush his hands over her waist, according to the report.
On the other hand, Arunabh and his colleagues have defended the statements saying the woman would walk in and out of the cabin to explain about the shoot, and the tattoo was very attractive that anyone could notice it.
The Mumbai police had booked The Viral Fever's (TVF) founder Arunabh Kumar on 22 April for sexual harassment, but he was released on bail on the same day. The case will be heard next month.
Arunabh Kumar hit headlines when someone by the name 'Indian Fowler' wrote a post on Medium about her horrific experience with the TVF founder. Soon many other women started sharing their stories.
