Watch: Green signal for Euthanasia, by Madras HC for an ailing Salem temple elephant

Chief Justice Indira Banerjee from the Madras high court on today waved mercy killing or euthanasia for a sick elephant of Arulmigu Sugavaneswarar Temple in Salem, Tamil Nadu. Rajeswari, the elephant is enduring severe and painful disease condition on her left foreleg, which cannot be medically or surgically treated, reversed and cured.
