AIADMK MLA Murugumaran has requested that Jayalalithaa’s belongings should be nationalised.
He said “Jayalalithaa’s belongings such as her vehicles and gifts should be nationalised and showcased in her house for the public to view. Under the leadership of Chief Minister E Palaniswami, the AIADMK factions will unite. We will retrieve the two leaves symbol.”
Earlier, Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president S Thirunavukkarasar demanded that her house should be converted into a memorial. He pointed out that Jayalalithaa had an excellent collection of books in her library and several awards that she had won as a student and actress.
