London retained the rights to stage the UEFA Champions League finals in 2024.

To compensate two of the cities whose hosting rights were restructured, the UEFA Executive Committee approved a settlement agreement.

The agreement, the committee said, recognises the efforts and financial investment put by the two cities in preparation for the tournament. Accordingly, Turkey and Munich would stage future club competition finals.
