Many celebrities have joined their hands for the campaign. Kannada’s popular heroines Shraddha Srinath and Samyukta Hornad had gone a step ahead and posted a Facebook video asking people to come out in support of the demand for more buses for people of Bengaluru.

After their #SteelFloverBeda (No to steel Flyover) campaign became a hit and eventually the government dropped the plan, the celebrities have come together to do something for the people, as most buses are crowded and people travel during peak hours with great difficulty.

Hosted by Alavilli, an event Bus Bhagya Beku - Bus Yatra to Shanti nagar will be held on Saturday at Shanthi Nagar bus stop in Bengaluru on March 4.

The campaign is being supported by many activists including Prakash belawadi, Chandrika Belawadi and others. The celebrities Bhargavi Narayan, Sudha Belawadi, Pawan Kumar, Shraddha Srinath, Samyukta Hornad, Malavika Avinash and many others will gather at the Shanthi Nagar bus stop to press for more buses.

According to Sudha Belawadi, popular actress, the bus travel is convenient if the system is improved. So, it is important that the entire transport system is rejigged and made suitable for the public travel.

Senior actor Bhargavi Narayan also thanked the Siddaramaiah government for cancelling the steel flyover project. Now, as the money allotted for the flyover lies idle, it can be used for purchase of new buses, she added.

This is what Shraddha Srinath and Samyukta Hornad have to say about the #BusBhagyaBeku.
