Complaint against Suriya withdrawn, woman thanks actor

Suriya did 'intervene' in person in the road spat

Further to the 'slap case' by actor Suriya yesterday, who allegedly intervened in a road spat between two boys and a lady and 'slapped' the boys, Pushpa Krishnaswamy, the lady involved in the spat has posted a series of tweets through her Twitter handle clarifying Suriya's stand.

Her tweets state that Suriya 'intervened' in person asking the boy 'not to touch a woman' but it still doesn't explain that Suriya actually 'slapped' the boys in question. Suriya has also acknowledged Pushpa's tweets by responding to them. However, the latest development is that the complaint of the alleged assault by Prem Kumar (21), one of the boys in question, has been withdrawn
