Synopsis

A six year old boy was injured when Suresh Rain hit a six. Doctors say that the boy is safe. The boy continued to watch the match in spite of the injury.

 

A six-year-old boy was injured when Suresh Raina hit a six in the T20 series between India and England held at Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday.

 

He took the treatment at medical centre and continued to view the match.

 

The ball hit his left thigh and he was taken immediately to Karnataka State Cricket Association’s medical centre at the stadium for treatment.

 

He was given first aid and sent back to pavilion to view the match, as he desired to watch the match in spite of pain. Doctors told that fortunately the ball did not hit to his head or neck. “he has suffered a minor pain and watching the match will not be a problem for his health” doctors told.

 

A similar incident had happened in April 17, 2012. The ball hit a 10 year old girl on her nose during an IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Pune Warriors.
